About SPG Supreme Basketball - We are an OFFICIAL YOUTH ORGANIZATION RECOGNIZED BY USA BASKETBALL & Member of the Jr. NBA. SPG Supreme AAU basketball NC teaches fundamental basketball skills, life skills, and good sportsmanship to student-athletes. Our motto is "Have Fun, Play Hard."

Our mission is to foster a competitive atmosphere, while focusing on the importance of good sportsmanship, academics, and personal development. To that end, SPG Supreme will never place the value of winning above the value of instilling the highest ideals of character.

In addition, we strive to provide the Fundamentals of Basketball to all players who desire to be better prepared for the Middle School, High School, and the College level of basketball. We strive to provide our teams with high quality experienced coaches and trainers, who are dedicated to developing players to reach their highest potential both on and off the court. Our coaches desire is to inspire each and every young man in our program to pursue a college education.

Our goals is to become a premiere AAU organization for Youth Basketball in Fayetteville, NC, Ft. Bragg, NC, and the following counties: Cumberland, Dune, Harnett, Sampson, Bladen, Robeson, Hoke, Moore, Johnston, Lee, and surrounding counties.

To develop each player's character by teaching the value of teamwork and sportsmanship through the game of basketball.
To provide players with knowledge of the game by obtaining an excellent coaching staff who use instruction and techniques that are designed to improve skills and enable players to compete at a high level.
To foster an atmosphere where working hard towards a common goal and achieving your potential are intertwined.
To prepare players both athletically and academically so they are ready to advance to the next level of play or stage of life.

Our Staff

Our coaches have over Fifteen years of coaching experience. Our coaches hold Bachelors degrees or higher and are USA Basketball Gold certified, NCAA certified, NFHS-Accredited Interscholastic Coach [AIC], and NFHS-Certified Interscholastic Coach [CIC]. All of our coaches are members of NFHS Association, AAU and Double-Goal Coach Certified. Our coaches and staff are also proud professionals, veterans, and active duty military.

The coaching staff of the SPG Supreme is committed to carry out the following responsibilities:

Strive to assist team members in the improvement of their individual strengths.
Coach and stress the basic fundamentals of basketball.
Create an environment in which the primary emphasis is placed upon the well-being of the athletes.
Conduct structured workouts, practices and attend all tournaments.
Lead by example and demonstrate the value of fair play and sportsmanship.
Be a leader and supporter our Mission and Goals.

Player Eligibility

Player's eligibility is determined by using guidelines established by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). For eligibility requirements, please reference the AAU Eligibility Rules.
